About Marco
Marco Walker-Ng is a strength and conditioning coach and personal trainer.
Having a clientele ranging from professional athletes to complete beginners allows him to have a well-rounded perspective. Marco is a Health Science graduate from the University of Ottawa.
As an athlete, he has competed in many sports and has also suffered and recovered from many of the injuries he regularly addresses in his profession. He is known as a trainer who practices what he preaches.
Understanding that this profession is dynamic, he is always searching for the most effective and innovative ways to help his clients reach their goals.
Outside of his dedicated practice, he enjoys spending this time with friends and family, reading, cooking, eating and playing outside.
He is passionate about improving his client's quality of life using exercise, diet and lifestyle modification. He believes that training is vital for both men and women of all ages.

Having played soccer for most of my life, cardio obviously took priority; and when I wanted to tone I did sit-ups to get abs and bicep and triceps curls to get nice arms. Sick of not seeing the results I wanted I asked Marco to make me a program and was introduced to a completely new way of working out. Marco sat me down and made me decide what my fitness goals were and how we were going to achieve them. He explained that I needed to work all parts of my body in order to see the results I wanted in the areas that I wanted. He also enforced eating habits as being equally as important when working out, a concept that I was aware of but didn’t quite understand the necessity behind it. Marco explained why we were doing what we were doing and made a program that catered to my specific needs (I personally have bad knees and he would try new exercises with me to both strengthen my knees while minimizing the strain on them). I used to be intimidated by the weight section and what people thought of the exercise I was doing, but I don’t care anymore. I know that what I am doing creates results and I’ve even had guys watch me to show their friend how to properly do an exercise. I’m now excited to move up in weights and find my stress levels decrease when I’m following a strict program, not to mention I feel much better in clothing and have not stopped getting compliments on mine and Marco’s work. Marco has an extremely approachable personality and wants you to succeed equally (if not more) than you do. Prior to Marco, I mainly focused my workouts on cardiovascular activities and rarely incorporated weight training. Initially, Marco went over an assessment with me and we discussed my goals and what I was hoping to attain through a strength training program. Marco’s workouts and simple approach to diet is EFFECTIVE. The hard work is necessary, but the results are guaranteed. Not only did I reach my strength and fat loss goals within the set period of time, but I started to notice bizarre things happen such as Spiderman-like reflexes, zero exhaustion when sprinting up six flights of stairs with a backpack full of books, a darker, glowing skin, and thicker, shinier hair that grows ridiculously fast. Being a varsity athlete I’ve always made training a priority. The problem was not knowing how to train properly for my particular sport. When Marco approached me and asked if he could create a program for me and assist in my off-court volleyball training, I jumped at the offer.It helped me reach physical goals I never thought possible.
